Since inception BNWLA has been involved in a vast range of activities starting from legal aid assistance, research, survey and investigation, organizing and facilitating training and workshop on issues like legal rights, women’s rights, CEDAW (Convention of Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women), CRC (Child Rights Convention), birth registration etc. Additionally, BNWLA works in the field of anti trafficking and its prevention, protection, rehabilitation, (through shelter home), legal action, reintegration in the family as well as in the society. It also works for the Acid Burn Survivors by providing them legal and medical assistance and rehabilitation. The organization has immense advocacy program and is also involved in lobbying with the government and actively works in disseminating information about the issues through mass media. |
