Bangladesh Institute of Human Rights and Development (BIHRD) is a sister concern of Bangladesh National Woman Lawyers' Association (BNWLA) has established with a view to introduce training certificate course on human rights, and post graduate diploma. Over the last thirteen years BNWLA has acquired strong reputation in providing training to the GOs, NGOs, INGOs and stakeholders in the field of human rights especially in women and child rights issues. It had been working under the department of training in the organization. By holding this reputation and experience BIHRD has already started its journey. BIHRD going to organize training courses for the human rights activists/ relevant professionals/interested individuals.

All courses will be conducted from 9:30am to 4:30pm daily.
Course fee per participants per course: For non-residential 5 days course 7000/=, 4 days course 5600/=, 3 days course 4200/= (It includes tuition fees, morning tea with snacks, lunch and afternoon tea, training materials and certificate).
BIHRD also organizes tailor made training according to the need of the organization in Dhaka and at field level.
Facilitation:
The professional facilitator having good law degrees and practical experiences will facilitate the course. The facilitation language will be in Bengali.

Under the training division the following activities have been implemented through partners –
- Legal literacy program
- Legal literacy refreshers class
- Violence Prevention Village Committee (VPVC)
- Raising awareness through drama demonstration
- Shalish training to local Shalishdar (LEB,VPVC etc.)
- Assist in legal action
- Fact finding of cases of violence
