This book is a continuation of publishing reports on violence against women for the fourth year, which was started from the year 2000. This report presents a comprehensive picture of different types of violence against women including domestic, public and workplace violence. Besides, it contains discussion on the nationality issue of Bangladeshi women, the consequence of violence on the reproductive health of women and how gender discrimination endangers women's reproductive health. The study has also highlighted on the recent trend of Bangladeshi movies and discussed how in the name of commercial movies, the presence of vulgar and obscene elements in recent years crossed all the previous records. Moreover the study contains discussion on different international instruments that contain provisions relating to the violence against women and also scrutinized judgements of few selective cases on expert's comment.
