BNWLA organized a View Exchange Meeting on Prevention of Eve Teasing at Azimpur Girls’ High School on 22^nd April 2009 with a view to forming a committee involving community leaders to prevent Eve teasing in the locality. Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin MP was present at the meeting as chief guest.  Hosne Ara Begum, Principal of Azimpur Girls High School and College and Officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Police Station Golam Rahman attended the meeting as special guests. Ward commissioners, NGO workers, teachers, parents and students of the locality took part in the meeting. It was decided that the Eve Teasing Prevention Committee will comprise of members from the community and will work in a non partisan manner. The participants who are interested to become members will be included in the committee. Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin MP will be the chairperson of the committee.
