Bangladeshe Paribaric Ain O Tar Proyog is the book, which is prepared on the basis of Muslin laws and various books written on Muslim laws, the sanction law by Government at different times, ordinance, policies and codes.  This book raised issues related to marriage, polygamy of the husband, dower, and maintenance of women, divorce, guardianship, and Christian law. The main purpose of this research was to improve women's status in Bangladesh by finding out how women are being deprived of their right, how they are being deprived within family law, how much security and safety of women the existing law is ensuring, how much their rights are protected by this law. Advocate, Fawzia Karim and advocate, Shahin Akhtar made a joint effort to publish this research- oriented book on family law and their application in Bangladesh.
