From Islamic point of view Talak (Divorce) is permitted only when the relationship between a husband and wife becomes extremely strained and on the contrary Hillah is entirely illegitimate and a sin according to the scientific research of Islam. BNWLA faces difficulties at times in dealing with cases of Talak and Hillah due to the existing friction between the law and Shariah. Due to this conflict, it is sometimes not possible to come to a satisfactory solution. Therefore BNWLA took the initiative to conduct this analytical study with an objective to aware people about the present Shariah and the existing law and eliminating unnecessary and illegal Fatwa in the names of Sharia along with taking necessary steps in removing the obstacles of implementing Muslim Family Law Ordinance, 1961.
