Upcoming event: Launching Ceremony of Legal counseling centre at court premises.

Venue: Dhaka District Judge Conference Room (2nd Floor) Judge Court Dhaka Date: 13 January, 2010 at 4:30pm to 6:30pm Bangladesh National Women Lawyers' Association (BNWLA), a national organization has been working to combat violence against women & Children and promote women's rights as human rights. From BNWLA's long experiences we realized that when women & children become victimized by violence and discrimination has no sufficient agencies or organization to give appropriate suggestions and comprehensive support services, which they need to reduce their trauma and to get justice. So we felt that strong counseling and briefing is needed for these litigations to reduce their trauma and assert their rights. So BNWLA is going to open a legal counseling center at Dhaka District Judge's premises to give legal advice, opinion, suggestions and counseling to ensure access to justice for the poor, vulnerable, deprived and disadvantaged women and children.
